Initiated by Ognjena Ratković, a Lauder Fellow from the Belgrade Jewish Community, the Intercultural Shabbaton Weekend took place on Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24, 2025, bringing together participants from diverse cultural backgrounds for two days of Jewish learning, dialogue, and connection.
As part of his Lauder Fellowship project and with the support of WJC NextGen, Ron Stern organized a joint cross-border program in Prague over the Pesach weekend with the Slovak Union of Jewish Youth (SÚŽM) and the Czech Union of Jewish Students (ČUŽM).

From April 25–26, WJC NextGen and AJC Campus Affairs co-hosted a Global Student Shabbaton in New York City, bringing together 70 student leaders from 27 countries.
Over the past few weeks, Lauder Fellow Lior Biran had the privilege of participating in a meaningful delegation across the United States, focused on strengthening and supporting Jewish communities during these challenging times.
