Barnard College, a private-liberal arts university in New York City, was stormed by pro-Palestinian protesters on Wednesday, February 26th. This was following the expulsion of two students who disrupted a History of Modern Israel class at Columbia University with pro-Palestinian protests. The protests turned violent when a 41-year-old Barnard employee was injured while trying to stop protesters from entering Barnard's Milbank Hall. In response, Barnard is now restricting campus access to students and staff with Barnard IDs, tightening security on campus while tensions remain high and protests escalate.
