Dan Glickman is the former U.S. secretary of agriculture and chair of APCO’s International Advisory Council. He previously served as executive director of the Aspen Institute Congressional Program, a nonpartisan educational initiative for members of Congress. Before joining the Aspen Institute, Secretary Glickman chaired the Motion Picture Association of America, directed Harvard’s Institute of Politics, and served 18 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Kansas’s 4th congressional district. Secretary Glickman serves on the boards of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the Food Research and Action Center, Issue One, and the Center for U.S. Global Engagement, where he chairs the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. He also co-chairs global agricultural initiatives and is an adjunct professor at Tufts University’s School of Nutrition.
