Yohan Benizri is the President of the Belgian Federation of Jewish Organizations (CCOJB). Yohan combines a demanding career as an international trade lawyer based in Brussels with a continuous Jewish engagement in a community that faces significant challenges (terror attack in the Jewish Museum in 2014, terror attacks at the airport and the metro in 2015, rising anti-Semitic incidents from certain parts of the Muslim community against Jews in schools, rising populism, as well as several instances of hate speech and holocaust denials). Yohan is also a member of the Jewish Diplomatic Corps, one of the WJC flagship programs for young leaders. For the past several years, he has been involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations, among which several are active in cross-cultural educational activities.
