Yohan Benizri is the former President of the Belgian Federation of Jewish Organizations (CCOJB). Yohan combines a demanding career as an international trade lawyer based in Brussels with a continuous Jewish engagement in a community that faces significant challenges (terror attacks in the Jewish Museum in 2014, terror attacks at the airport and the metro in 2015, rising antisemitic incidents from certain parts of the Muslim community against Jews in schools, rising populism, as well as several instances of hate speech and Holocaust denials). Yohan is also a member of the Jewish Diplomatic Corps, one of the WJC flagship programs for young leaders. For the past several years, he has been involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations, among which several are active in cross-cultural educational activities.
