Dan was a Lauder Fellow in the second cohort and is now a member of the World Jewish Congress JD Academy. He is honored to now serve on the World Jewish Congress Executive Committee.
While at the University of Maryland, Dan served as the Student Body President representing over 30,000 students. During his term, he managed a seventeen-member cabinet, served on dozens of committees and task forces across campus, and oversaw a $3,000,000 budget to support student services across campus. He graduated with a B.S. in Marketing and minors in Jewish Studies and International Development and Conflict Management.
In high school, Dan was an active member and regional leader of BBYO and continues to volunteer with the organization both at their annual International Convention and through the local chapter in Budapest, Hungary. He looks forward to the continued growth of the newly formed partnership between BBYO and the World Jewish Congress through the Jewish Youth Assembly and future initiatives.
